If it has something for LinuxCNC (or the older EMC) then that should work fine.
If it has "generic G-code with arcs" that should probably work OK, too, but be sure to find all G codes it uses, and verify that they work in Virtual PathPilot.
I use Mastercam 2018 at work on a daily basis.
The Owner was nice enough to give me permission to use it for my 1100-3 if I want. I use Fusion 360 at home, but really like Mastercam.
Anyone know what post will work for the 1100? MC has many to choose from, but nothing for Tormach.
I really don’t want to pay to have one written by the dealer.
The 1100-3 does have an ATC.
Thanks for any help

Can't tell you about the tool changer but I've been using the mpmaster_tormach post that's around for X3. Chances are good it would update into he newer MC. Free so worth a try and as above, you could test on the virtual PP
