CNC y axis profile
what to think about such a profile ?

It's nice that it provides places to put the rails and screw, but it doesn't seem rigid enough to be a gantry beam in itself, unless it only had a very short distance to span. If you squared out the back and mounted it solidly to a heavy steel box-beam it would work a lot better.
