Hey All,
I'm at my wits end with this Syil X4. I've had the spindle board rebuilt, still no movement. Vid here on where I'm at:
At this point I'd be happy to replace the spindle control (and motor if necessary) Anyone PLEASE!!! Help!
Anything I haven't tried with my current set up?
Anyone who has replaced all the guts in your Syil X4?
Please hook a brother up
Thanks,
CE

Do you have a photo of the controller card?
Is it an XMT_DRIVER_1500 like this one?

Pictures of PCBs so I know which of the many versions you have. I hAve most if the schematics.
Your problem is in the big motor controller PCB.
Can be a simple as e-stop lockout. Most wiring is failsafe so any broken wire will kill it.
As your display and buttons work small parallel port board and front panel are good.
Pictures please.

Neil and Maxspongebob,
I was hoping you guys would show up! You both have tried to help me before. In fact in the last thread someone recommended the guy I sent the board to for rebuild

I believe your safety relay on main board won't be closing.
If that is the case you won't have any voltage on the big electrolytics. Be careful. All this stuff is at mains potential.
I don't have a schematic of your version.
What is the psrtnumber(s) on all of the boards.
Each version the idiots got from east-crystal are different because no proper specs for machine. EC don't care, 'cos they they just charge for development cycle again. The rot continues.

Hey Neil,

Honcar HBLC-1100-300H-S0018A
Power Main Board Ver 1.0 2012.05.18
The little board at the top is:
Tonman PCF12171 Rev. 1.1
Thank you!

sorry,
CE
Sorry. Don't recognize any of those numbers.
Try this: Closest I could find. Look at page 41. Get the Estop wiring correct.

Can you guys please share the solution if one was found? I have an X4 style machine but it is older and slightly different but I can't get MACH3 to control the spindle either. Thanks!
What are the identifying marks on your spindle controller?
Look here for my solution. https://www.cnczone.com/forums/bench...-sx4-bldc.html
