The X axis is alarming OT002 in the middle of the travel. It is a Fanuc 10. Any help is appreciated,.

pfmn95492,
You're sure your parameters for OT are set correctly?
Two potential ways on a 10 control depending on sys software. 1) Hold "P" and "CAN" while powering up. You'll get no confirmation that it did anything until you move it and have no OT alarms.
2) Need to get into IPL menu to shut off OT before Zero Return. Hold (-) and (.) while powering up and you will have the IPL menu. Look for "SETTINGS" (menu item 4??) , say "YES", exit and power up.

Apparently the X axis is slowly sinking when turned off. That's probably why it loses its position. Does anyone have any ideas what we'll need to fix to keep it from moving when off?
Thanks
