I know someone with a Fadal 4525 with a Siemens controller, very good shape. It has low hours, I know, because I'm the only one who has ever used it and I left the company 5 years ago...

They talked about selling it a couple of years ago, though, I'm not sure if he's still interested in selling it...

I will ask my friend about it.

Is there any particular reason that you are looking for such a machine, it's a really good machine as machines go, but its a 2001 year model machine and they've come a long way since then.

I know Fadal machines are once again being sold, I went to an open house about 6 months ago and the new machines are very capable tools.

So why a 14 year old machine, if I may ask...?

I have a fadal 3020 with seimens control and ran it for 10000 hours and its still accurate
and to have 2 machines alike here
where is the machine located?

The Fadal 4525 is in San Diego California. I talked to him, he is interested in selling it... He's looking to get about $25,000 for it, its in excellent condition. He has no other use for the 40 or so tool holders and 2 Kurt vices so I assume it would be a lot price for the whole thing. Rigid tapping, washdown system all working, no rust, new looking paint, etc. at least the last time that I used it...

what options does the fadal 4525 have does it have the hi and low belt setup for the spindle ?
and does it have the chip auger for it?
and can you get the hours on the machine?

The machine has automatic hi/lo gear, I believe it shifts gears at 2500/2501 RPM, It has the auger and internal hi volume wash down with timer..
I can't go visit the machine so I asked to get the hours and also some pictures of it..
