Allegro A6615SED stepper motor driver

Hello All,

I scrapped a board from Epson printer which has an IC named A6615SED (probably made by Allegro - has an "A" logo). But I cannot find a datasheet for it. Can anyone help me with this IC? I want to use board and motors for my hobby project.

Hello, have you find it? I also need this datasheet. I was thinking to try to understand the schema beginning from the datasheet of E01A39CA, an other big Epson IC on the board, but I can't find its datasheet too.
My board is C483 MAIN-B.

I have actually 3 scrapped boards, one of them is A6628SEDT which apparently pin by pin compatible... I could not find any info about them... nor another Allegro similar product. It looks like A3988 has the same functionality, but not the same package... A6628 and A6615 are PLC44
any help?

I'm in the same boat I scraped a epson c64 printer and it has a A6615sed on it. I was looking at using as a driver. Just cant seem to find data sheets.

Ok, between these two images you more or less have every thing you need to make a PCB for this driver. any one makes a PCB for it please post it.

A nice wiring diagram can be found in the Epson's documentation.
