Default Multiple power supplies vs single for steppers

So I am to the point in my build that I need to order my power supply(s). I am planning on either 36 or 48volts and need 13.2 amps if I run a single supply based on the 2/3rds rule running four 5 amp steppers. I noticed that it is far less expensive to order multiple lower amp power supplies and this would give me the capacity later to add a 4th axis and so is there a reason to run one vs running two? I have searched but have found no threads that address benefits or rationale between running single vs multiple power supplies. FWIW I am planning regulated switching power supplies.

What are the motor specs? 36V sounds low for 5 amp steppers.

I think the reason you see multiple supplies is entirely due to cost.

I use an unregulated toroidal 60V supply for my 5 amp steppers.

So the rated voltage in the documentation shows 3 volts (kinda makes me scratch my head). They have Inductance of 2.5 per phase and a holding torque of 570 oz In KL23H2100-50-4B is the motors.
