    Default Looking to get New motors, Any advice ???

    Hello Everyone

    I am looking to get new motors, looks like one of them i have have died
    I am running Gecko G202 with a 72 Volt power supply

    Right now i have this motors

    57BYGH115-003

    346 Oz
    3 Amps
    9 Mh
    4 Wire

    and i was thinking of replacing them with this motor

    KL23H2100-50-4B

    570 oz In
    5 Amps
    2.5 Mh
    4 wire

    What are people opinion ??
    Maybe someone know of something better ???

    That would be a better motor for your setup than the one you've got, which has too much induction even for your high-voltage supply (it wants about 96 volts to run optimally). But it's really rare for stepper motors to actually die - did you swap the leads over to the axis that's malfunctioning, and see if it still didn't work?

    No i did not swap the leads, i never really liked them motors so I just said F#$% it and ordered a new set with encoders
    Hopefully i will get them in a few days and see how she will run
