TB6600 Stepper Driver Wiring Help

Need help with wiring of breakout board and stepper driver ( TB6600 )
Have been looking on you tube and am confused as to how to connect the
Pul/Dir from the breakout board to the driver. Some say to connect Dir + and Pul + to Common and pin 2 and 3 to the driver Dir - / Pul -. Some say to connect Dir + and Pul + to +5 volts.

This is a new CNC and I don’t want to generate smoke
