    Default Anything about the dm542/dm542t/dm542a??

Hello! I've been really interested in buying one of these for my cnc. I've seen a lot of people using it and it seems that it's a really reliable and precise stepper driver. Now I got a few questions, first off, does anyone recommend it and are there any superior specs that make it particularly outstanding (would you recommend something else instead)? Is there a difference between the "t" model and the "a" model? And is there any reliable distributors one would recommend?(reason being, I impulsively bought 3 of the dm542t from a sketchy distributor and had to get a refund from Amazon).

    Thanks so much in advance!!!

I have 3 DM542T drivers that I purchased from StepperOnline through Amazon and they have worked flawlessly. The steppers run smooth and quiet and I run them at 48V. I have been very happy with them, but I can't speak to what the differences are between the M542, DM542T, DM542A, etc. All I can say is the ones I have work just fine.

What is your experience with dm542? Is it a good alternative to Gecko? I´m thinking about buying these drivers and need to know how they perform.
