I am looking to purchase a license of Sprutcam. I use Sprutcam at work and have become very familiar with it. I recently picked up a CNC mill for my home hobby projects and have been doing some trials of lower priced CAM solutions for my at-home use. I haven't found one that I feel is comparable for a more affordable price than Sprutcam and am therefore trying as hard as possible to obtain a copy while staying within my limited budget. I have read the Sprutcam license agreement and it doesn't seem that selling a used dongle to someone is illegal but correct me if I am wrong. To keep the price low, I am willing to work with older versions that someone may have and be willing to sell. Specifically, I am looking for a version that includes 3 axis milling strategies. It may be a long shot but does anyone have a license dongle that they would be willing to sell? Thanks in advance for the consideration.
And it's probably not legal to sell an older version dongle if the owner has upgraded to a newer version. If the OP is in the States, just contact Jake at SprutCAMAmerica and ask him for the legailities of purchasing a used dongle.
I purchased my SprutCAM license from a member of this forum. Once I had the key in my possession, I contacted Tormach to transfer the license to me. All is well, and I just upgraded that license to version 9.
You might want to get verification that they are a valid license holder first, maybe ask Tormach? I had him send me a photo of the key and disk, at least to ensure he had them in his possession.

I owned two licenses of SC8 allpost. I have since upgraded one to SC9 leaving me with one fully licensed SC8 allpost. If it is allowed I would most likely be willing to transfer you my remaining SC8 license since I can take my SC9 dongle home with me if I want to work out of the office.
Hi Folks,
I am looking for a backup license to Sprutcam. I am looking for a legitimate copy that I can verify with Sprutcam America per this thread.
My preference would be SC 10 all-post but will consider down to SC 8
Or Tormach only.
Thanks!
Nathan
