Default Single vs 3 Phase input on Huanyang VFD

    Hi,

Was looking to replace a broken HY0D223B Single Phase Input 2.2Kw
    Accidentally picked up a HY0D243B 380v input 2.2 Kw

I was just interested if someone knew where the differences were and if there was any way to do an easy converstion.
Intrigued as to why the HY0D243B exists when the HY0D223B takes single or 3 phase input anyway - though I notice the output current is different by a factor of 2 - when would that be helpful please.

From having a look the boards look pretty much identical apart from some components that could just be a updated revision.

We have hooked it up and, unsurprisingly, are getting an E.Lu.S error.

    Many thanks

It exists because they have 380v spindles

E.L.U.S is a supply voltage problem or missing phase

The VFD Drive is looking for 380v, it is no good to use unless you have 380v / 400v 3 Phase power.

See if you can return it.

    There is NO easy conversion.
There is NO conversion path at all.

    Cheers

Suspected as much but hope you appreciate why I'd check. I'll keep it for when we get 3 phase and a new project.

Thanks for taking the time to answer both.
