    Ok I tried :
    PD000=0
    PD001=0
    PD002=0
    nothing happens

    I tried
    PD000=0
    PD001=1
    PD002=1
    spindle turns on goes to 6000 rpm and stays there, cant change rpm with the little dial

    I tried
    PD000=0
    PD001=1
    PD002=0
    spindle turns on goes to 24000 rpm and stays there, cant change rpm with the little dial

    Try the J1 Jumper in the other position

    YES!!

    Switching jumper to 2-3 position and

    PD000=0
    PD001=1
    PD002=1

    was able to start and stop spindle in mach4 and was able to change rpm with dial on VFD

    Just have to get the PWM setup and you will be set, this will have to be setting in Mach4 which I think you have already done, so just the ESS to get configured so post the photos just as you have been doing, as they show up clear enough to see what needs to be changed

    Check what is under the RPM tab this my be able to be set at 24000 check

    Turn on Forward as well

    So disconnect the Relay from the VFD Drive and now test the 0-10v output with M3S12000 M3S6000

    I cant turn forward on.

    Ok this is where I feel lost.
    I do not understand relationship of ESS pins input, pins output and MACH4 pins input, pins output. I know this probably feels simple to most people on this forum but I cant figure this out.
    I don't know much about electronics so I probably need to find place on the internet that can explain to me like I'm 5 years old

    Your connections you need right now are outputs, Mach4 outputs a command to the ESS the ESS outputs to your Breakout board then to your VFD Connection

    Your On / Off and speed control are all outputs

    Input is when a signal like say a limit switch makes contact it is this input that tells the control / machine to stop

    If you can't turn on the FWD then it may not be needed, so don't sweat this, as we just have to see what works with your setup

    What about the RPM you don't have indexing so this should be able to be changed

    under mach4 output looks looks like this now https://imgur.com/a/Ot4BJSY
    and under ESS looks like this nowhttps://imgur.com/a/EK47Jev

    If I try to do green check mark on ESS output signals, spindle fwd-enable, I does not want to stay, it keeps resetting.

    I have set max RPM to 24000, is that what you referring to?

    The that looks ok, except for the RPM line on this config page under the PWM line
