    Default XSY-AT1 CONNECTION TRANSLATION

    Hi All

Please excuse my lack of knowledge.
Can anyone help me? I am trying to connect my XSY-AT1 to a Gecko G540 using a relay to control the motor with MACH3.

My problem is trying to work out the correct connections on the VFD.
See attached photo. I wish to connect the outputs from the relay to For and DCM which are not labelled on the XSY-AT1. It looks like I should use X4, can someone verify if I have this correct.

    Thanks in advance.
    Greg

They are not labelled because you can program the X inputs for different functions.
By default X4 input is for start / stop. with parameter 53 you can set it for other functions.
So in your case, a relay between ground and X4 input should be able to start and stop the motor connected to the VFD
Here you can find the manual
