    Default Problems with VFD

    Attachment 456329Problems with VFD-tag-1a-jpg
Hi, I am having problems with my Huanyang GT-7R5G-2 VFD using Qmodbus I can’t get it to spin, first see my VDD parameters are as follows, P0.00=0, P0.01=2, P0.02=0, P0.03=300, P0.04=300, P0.05=100, P0.06=300, P0.07=7, PC.00=1, PC.01=4, PC.02=1, PC.03=5, PC.04=0. When testing my VFD manually with the correct parameters using the VFD keypad I can get the VFD to spin from 0 to 18000 RPM without any problem, I am using UCCNC software with ETH400 motion controller I would like to use Modbus to control the VFD, before I go that route I am testing it to see if I can get it to spin using Qmodbus software as you can see with the 2 screen snapshot below I send command to start the VFD but it does not spin (tag-1a) the second screen shoot is to see if communication is working between the Qmodbus and VFD, wondering if it’s a VFD problem or a software problem. I am getting desperate also pulling the remaining of ma hairs I wish someone can help me will appreciate all the help you can give and I thank you in advance. Best regards and happy holidays

I have used this info for my spindle with Mach3 (066), ESS(latest plug in) & Mach Standard Mill(Calypso Ventures), with an USB to serial RS485 chip set CH340(found on E-bay) on Windows 10. I kinda had to slowly work my way thru all the steps but eventually got it to work with MDI & programs.
