What size spindle

I am new to the CNC world only been at it a couple of months. I would like to upgrade my home made cnc from a dewalt router to a VFD spindle. I was thinking of getting a 1.5 Kw or a 2.2 Kw spindle but am not sure what the power difference is between them. I am just milling wood and some plastics.Any knowledge imparted would be greatly appreciated. I am using Mach 3.

If you have a good power source 230v /240v single phase then a 2.2Kw is going to work better for most how big is your machine and how rigid is your machine it may only suit a 1.5Kw
