    Default Huanyang VFD setup

    Hi all,

    I have done some reading, and think these are the important parameters to set. Before I get started, can someone please check if these settings are correct, or if there is anything missing?

    VFD: Huanyang HY03D011B (110V, 3.0KW)
    Spindle: Huanyang GDZ-65-800C (800W, 110V, 400Hz, 24000RPM)

    For now I want to set this up to use the potentiometer for speed control. Later this will be connected to a Buildbotics controller by RS485.

    PD000 = 0
    PD001 = 0
    PD002 = 0
    PD005 = 400
    PD004 = 400
    PD003 = 400
    PD072 = 400
    PD008 = 110
    PD011 = 120
    PD141 = 110
    PD142 = 7
    PD073 = 120
    PD000 = 1

    Then later, when connected to the controller, change these settings:
    PD000 = 0
    PD001 = 2
    PD002 = 2
    PD163 = 1
    PD164 = 1
    PD165 = 3
    PD000 = 1

    Thank you!

    It looks ok to get started there are more Parameters that will need to be set though, why 3Kw for a 800w spindle it may fault out if you don't have enough input amps you need double the input amps as to what the spindle Amps will be

    What other parameters should I set?

    Smaller VFDs were not available for purchase when I bought it, so I had to go with a 3kW.
