replacing Fanuc spindle drive with VFD?
I'm investigating the possibility of replacing an old Fanuc drive 6055 with a VFD.
I need to get one that will interface with the old okuma control. luckily it is a lathe with no orentate. The encoder signals are just for speed feedback and could possibly be handeled by a pico systems interface card.
the wiring connections are attached. I'm unsure of the motor plate but it is an 7.5/11 hp/kW fanuc motor coupled to a 6055-H208 drive
Can anyone recomend a drive that can run the motor and interface with the controll it needs +/- 10V input and probably programable digital outputs?
