    Default Help with vfd

I am trying to get my VFD to work on my lathe. It is labled as a VEKKO. I am pretty sure I wired it wrong.

I have all my function codes programmed in.
Right now my potentiometer does move the hrz. number on the VFD lcd screen from zero to 120hrz. So I think that part is good.

I found some pics of the vfd wiring on the interwebs and assumed that is all I had to do. The manual says that there is a 24v that is used for the digital inputs ( I assumed this meant it automatically applied the 24v to the DI terminals). I now think I need to wire in the 24v somehow. There is a diagram on wiring the DI terminals in the manual labeled "sink wiring" But I have no clue what it means.

I will upload some pics of what I have now, the manuals version of "sink wiring" and the manual.

I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone can provide.

Were you able to get this resolved?

I ask because I'm considering the purchase of the Turnado and I'm assuming this thread is about that machine. Assuming that is the case, can you tell me what you think of the machine? Pros, Cons, what you might have done different, etc.?

If the VFD issue hasn't been resolved, I may be able to help.

    Thanks!

That is a typical opto-isolator VFD input that the majority of makes use, some have the option of making either sink or source type inputs.
Here is a paper on the sink/source details.
In some cases the controlling device does not need the +VCC.
