Just want to say that I got it running using mactec54’s suggestions on the parameters and then had to tweak a few that I couldn’t seem to input the values that he suggested. It seems to be running the full range and drawing very little current. Hopefully I get more than a year out of this generic VFD. I will document all the parameters, just in case me or someone else may need them again.
    Great site!

Just in case anyone else needs a hand. These parameters make my spindle go.

    Thanks tarawa!
I'm also fighting with the parameters of the same vfd although I got the 2.2kw spindle motor. I came up with about the same result as you did (with trial & error method:-)
Keep this thread open for this VFD since the lack of a good manual.
I'll post my settings later when I have checked them.

(yes, I know. there are other Ch VFDs but I don't want to pay double price just for the manual)

Are there any changes for a 2.2KW, 220 volt spindle? Thanks

I have a XSY-AT1 VFD on a 2 HP Bridgeport mill. The motor is wired for 240 V. I have been trying to get the torque boost to work right over a range os speeds. If I turn P72 up it works great at low speeds but then I get too much current at high speeds. I'm assuming there is some scheme to make the torque boost work mostly at low speeds and then taper off at higher speeds. But, I have not been able to figure that out from the manual. I'm guessing P70 and P71 are the necessary parameters.

My unit doesn't have a terminal block for the status relay, but I can hear a relay click inside the unit when it faults and when you clear the fault. I checked the PCB terminals for TA, TB, and TC and there seems to be no connection to them. I'd like to have it trip the Estop if the VFD faults.
And, now I have it in some weird state where I can't reduce the value of P71. It will let me increase P71, but the down arrow doesn't work on that parameter. Totally weird!
    Thanks,
    Jon
