Mach3 has a it's own serial Modbus setup.
yes you will still need your RS485 converter and will need to remove the old Huanyang plugin
I had this posted on the wrong forum for a couple of days so i changed it a bit,
after already changing the invert-er one time because it failed, again I need to replace or repair it. Because it is still under warranty it was replaced with the "GT" model? {recomended by Huanyang) So after installing it I opened the manual to program it only to find it is completely different than the previous 2 Invert-ers from Huanyang. I now have the spindle running from the key pad on the invert-er but not through mach3/ RS485 plugin. As i said this link was on the wrong forum but when it was on the wrong forum, Gerry said that there might be a problem with the plugin and that I needed an ModBus plugin? Now i am getting even further into the woods...If I am to install a ModBus plugin
1 - do I still use the RS485 USB ? or is there something else I need to get ,
2 - if I am to use this RS485 USB do i remove the plugin for this and add the ModBus plugin into mach3
3 - and lastly where will i find this ModBus plugin for Mach3 run from windows 7 PC and parrallel port DB25 cable

It's not a plugin in Mach3.
Under Function Cfg > Setup Serial Modbus.
You'll need to learn how Modbus works, and how to set it up.
