GDZ143X133-9 4p, 9kw H1 ATC spindle grounding the bit ?

Hello,

Iam trying to setup my new ATC CNC machine from china. the machine came with a touchoff probe but i want to use a metal Z plate and run with screenset 2010 for "semi" automatic tool change.

The Z plate is hooked up and i get signal correctly when connecting the plate with ground( 0volt ) on controller card. However, I would like to ground the iso20 tooldholder so that i dont have to manually ground the bit with a cable on each toolchange. I attached a picture, I can only get a contact by touching on the spinning part or the iso20, all other parts on machine has no connection to "ground" Is there anyone that know if and how i can ground the bit to the chassie or some other way to hook it up back to the GND(0volt)

I don't think there's really a good way to reliably use a conductive touch plate with most spindles. The spindle (inner part with the taper,) is not consistently grounded to the frame of assembly. Simplest solution would be to get a mechanical height setter.
You shouldn't really need the height setter if you keep your tool table updated.
