I get this error every time I open Mach3 now, never had it when running parallel port -
Have to click "OK" four times to clear it, then things appear to run normally.
I will post as its own question later.

I have never had that problem, Email CNCDrive if you don't get an answer, they may know right away what the problem is, I have had a UC100 since day one and have run it on a lot of different platforms, but never have had any issues at all

Got an answer from them - That error is due to my version/copy of Mach3 being a crack hack !!!
I got Mach 3 in a package deal from a Chinese seller on Ebay with this CNC machine.
Turns out it is not legit...Some balls advertising you are including software and then
send people non legit stuff. So, now have to get a legit copy......
But on the bright side, no GAGAGAGA noises and dropped steps in several cuts!

I never thought to ask that question as you had been using your machine for some time, anything from China that is using Mach3 is a hacked copy and you have to replace it, as parts of Mach3 does not perform how it should with the hacked copies

The reason why I posted about the UC100 they too have a hacked copy that does not work with the CNCDrive software

Right - was careful when I bought the UC100 to get a real one.
Yes, the original Mach 3 installation did work for quite a while without issues but
I do not do anything too demanding. I don't even control the spindle through Mach 3,
I got used to doing it from the panel and stuck with it.
More cutting tonight to see if things stay put, and look into a legit copy of Mach3

Mach3 is fee to down load and works with most functions up to 500 lines of code, so something to think about

I am thinking on it for sure.
    Strange new errors now (!)
    Glitches like losing position and
forgetting what it is doing - was cutting letters into
a finished part and the thing just stopped lettering and dragged
the engraving bit across the part after two letters like a guy shot
in the head while writing in a journal!
Never had these odd glitches before the UC100...
could be the UC is just not good for me. or it reacts badly to
this copy of Mach 3 where the parallel port didn't...
    DAMN

Maybe I will install the trial version Mach 3 side by side and see if those new issues
vanish? If they do, then buy the Much 3, If not - go back to parallel port.

You want to stay with the UC100 the CPU is much better than what your computer can provide for your machine

You may need a better USB cable Double shielded with ferrite chokes work very well

I understand that is what is supposed to be happening (better)
but this new glitch stuff wasn't ever there on PP...
Now I noticed the "jog" is not working the same - before on PP
was fine. Step or continuous - now put it into "step" and it will not work!
Only works continuous. Odd... I am using the cable the UC people supplied.
Will try some more experiments like the above ones I stated, and a cable swap -
    we shall see.

I don't think that is cable related, that is software

Made some real progress (I think) this weekend!
Decided based on research here and elsewhere to
shotgun a few things on the PC I was using
Defragged the drive, and set to "max performance"
getting rid of all the fancy visuals...
The big thing was realizing this was an old work PC
(dual Intel 2.9gig CPU - 2 gig ram) and STILL had
old corporate bloatware on it. Removed all the Mcafee
Cisco Centrix stuff - was able to run cutting jobs for over a
hour straight at a time without a glitch.
I think taking the fan to constant ON was the real game changer.

Yes a clean dedicated computer can make a lot of difference, Mcafee would be a problem

    No doubt -
Now back to the learning curve of getting this thing to
make my parts! Feeds and speeds are still a thing for me
    to beat.
