    You need to Have a single point ( Star Ground ) where all your Ground wires attach the Main Ground should be attached to this Star Ground Point then you VFD Ground Goes from this point to the VFD Drive, the Spindle Ground can connect to the VFD Ground Terminal or the Star Ground Point, But no loops are aloud

    Do you have your VFD Mounted in a Cabinet if so the Metal mounting plate becomes the Ground Plane once you Create a Star Point Ground on this panel

    So you have many choices for Ground wire Termination, but all will be at one point ( Star Ground ) bonded to the metal Ground Plane ( Metal Mounting Plate )
    I have uploaded a revised sketch. Please check it and let me know if it is all right.

    Thank you!

    Both ways can work but because the Ground wire is part of your shielded cable Between the VFD and the Spindle the first sketch ( 1 ) is the best option

    Great! Looks like grounding issue is cleared now.

    Back to V.F.D parameters. Below I have typed out the main parameters and the corrected values suggested by you. Let me know if I should finalise these values or any further changes are necessary.

    P00.00 - Main frequency - 400Hz
    P00.04 - Highest output frequency - 400Hz
    P00.05 - Maximum voltage output frequency - 400Hz
    P00.06 - Highest output voltage - 100%
    P00.07 - Middle frequency - 200Hz
    P00.08 - Middle Voltage - 50%
    P00.09 - Minimum frequency - 100Hz
    P00.10 - Minimum voltage - 10%
    P12.19 - PWM frequency (Carrier frequency) - 10KHz

    Also, can you tell me what are the P11.yy parameters from the manual?
    And I am unable to change the V.F.D display to show the RPM instead of Frequency. I browsed online and found people saying that the Disp./Shift button should be pressed but nothing is happening when i press it on my V.F.D.

    Thank you!

    What is your main supply Voltage as you will have to adjust some of your Parameters depending on your voltage

    Here in India, it is supplied between 220V-250V depending on the city or the region within India, at a frequency of 50 Hz. Where I live its 230V, 50Hz.

    So just a few Parameter changes for you

    P00.07=140 ( This is the middle Frequency between 120 and 400=140 )
    P00.08=35

    P00.9=120
    Why the change to 120 you have a air cooled spindle, and most likely should be higher than this it depends how good the cooling fan is as to
    how slow the spindle can run without over heating

    P0010=30

    P12.19=10 Watch the Temperature of the spindle when set at 10, 8 is the normal for these spindles

    I have a liquid cooled spindle! not air cooled

    Sorry confused your spindle for another one I have been working with, so should be changed to this

    P00.07=150
    P00.08=37

    P00.09=100
    P00.10=25

    P12.19=10 same information as above watch for over heating
