Are you using the Mach 3 plug in?
Is this a USB to RS485 convertor?

Hi hi to all concerned, I've a VFD issue. Md# HY02D223B 220v 2.2k
With no output to the spindle, the inverter is powering up and running as normal but it is not accepting any info from the rs485 dangle.
I swapped the drive board (the one with the single small blue relay & green connecting tag strips) with another similar board and everything works well.
Does any one have or had similar problems or know what's the cause I'll be very thankful for any advice.
If repairs is a no no and someone have the board in question in working condition from a similar broken VFD and wouldn't mind parting with same can contact me at web.mann@yahoo.com .
Thanking you all in advance.
Best regards.

Yes I'm using the plugin and yes I'm using the rs485.
The machine is back up and running right now with a drive board (module) I borrowed from another VFD, so I know that the problem is the particular drive or control board I mentioned earlier.
The original VFD is still working because I swapped the part from another VFD.
So I need to repair or replace that particular board in order to have both VFD operational.

Hi Al_The_Man.
I just sent you a picture of the board, I'm not on base at the moment I'm on mobile should be back on base in a couple hours.
Regards.
I did have some of those boards, but they have all been used, there are most likely lots around from failed drives, your other choice is to contact HY direct and they may be able to send you a new board, or just buy the cheapest HY drive and get the board out of it, make sure it is an HY Drive if you do buy another one as there are copies out there that are not the same
