Default Help with adding a spindle and vfd to controller

Picked up a velox cnc machine that pretty much new, its a few years old and running a parallel box.

Id like to move from a slow dc motor to a spindle but my controller doesn't support it, I am fairly green on messing with the electronic end of these, any help?

If you can not connect the vfd to your
Controller it is not a big deal.

just buy a vfd and spindle then you can turn it on manually by a switch and potentiometer for adjusting the rotary speed
then you can run the gcodes

After job is done then turn off the vfd from the switch.

I knew i couldn't, but wondered if there was a simpler breakout board i could use to do so.

I think i can control speeds from vfd by changing frequencies, i think

What control software are you using, and yes a simple Breakout Board that has PWM 0-10v output can do what you want depending on your control you are using

Check your Breakout Board outputs you may already have a 0-10V PWM output and a spare relay for turning the VFD On/Off

    Where are you located ?

if you want I can upgrade your velox cnc to new electronics
then you can control the vfd from the software.

    email me your contacts.
