need help on combo ac power supply speed controller

Have a Chinese HQ-SXPWM combo speed/ power supply, brand new. When plugged into 110 motor runs but on off switch does not function and speed control does not adjust the rpms? It is wired correctly. Could use your help Is this the right area in the forum to ask? Thanks, Knifemaker

If it is indeed wired correctly and it does not work, then it's dead. You can either send it back, or open it up and check the components, starting with the output transistors.
