Help me build a complete guide to setting up a water cooled spindle
Hello everyone I recently cam across a sweet deal on a spindle and well pretty sure that fell through (freakin retarded!!)
anyway so now I am trying to piece together a solution for my machine but as I search the internet there are all sorts of topics on water cooled spindles but no complete solution guide to follow from. So I think that it would be great to make a guide like that for new cnc users like me
Once this guide is finished I will make a pdf of my entire process available to everyone
I would love anyone's input on this topic and lets work together to put together a really nice set of products
So lets get started
Here is my machine: its a cncrp Pro4896
Here is what I am looking at so far for the spindle setup
Spindle: 2.2 kw water cooled spindle and 220v vfd from Build your cnc

Collets: 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" ER20 Collets from Precise Bits

Now here is where I start having a hard time!!
VFD CABLE AND CONNECTORS:? FOR THE PRO4896 WE ARE GOING TO NEED ABOUT 30 FEET OF CABLE
VFD Power Cable: (aka power cable to the wall) 12 ga w/ground THHN-PVC Tray Cable (working amperage of the vfd is around 9 amps)

VFD to CNC Controller cable: I have no idea what to do here but here is the electronics that I have (also i am running Mach 3 control software
4-Axis Digital Plug and Play NEMA 34 System - CRP800-00E-8 | CNCRouterParts
Water Pump/ Reservoir: I am thinking that sense I would like to mount everything on the gantry going to the pc water cooling world will be the best option.
(I want to mount everything on the gantry so I do not have to run water lines through my drag chains as I think these will break over time)

Radiator/fans for cooling: Not sure what to here but I think a simple triple radiator (brass tube copper fin) would work great with some 120mm or 140mm fans

Fans: I am thinking that your standard 140 mm fan will work good (some led for flash lol)

Tubing for water cooling: I am thinking that your standard silicone hose will work great for this should be the 3/8" id and 1/2" od but I need to check on that

Water Temp Monitoring: I am thinking just a little lcd should work good for this just so you can take a quick glance at the machine and make sure nothing is going wrong

Coolant for the system: I am thinking a standard pc coolant or even car antifreeze would work just fine?

I think this is everything needed to set it up there are a couple other things like a mounting solution which I will include when the guide is finished but guys I would love all your input and lets make a great guide for everyone to use
