I have to reverse engineer and feedscrew for a customer. I am using the solid sweep function but, I don't think I am getting the correct geometry. Does anyone here have any experience with drawing feedscrews? If so would you mind sharing how it is done? Thanks in advance!

just about all the machines that use these timing screws come from Europe , the lead time for replacement parts is well over a year.
with out the screws no beer bottle in north America will get labeled , filled , capped or packaged !
We have our machines running all day long making screws !
Thanks for the input. I believe I figured out how to draw the the feed screw using cut sweep with solid profile. It looks good on screen. We will try and cut a test piece to see if it actually works.
