    Default Hi Gut!

Just wonder about you OS ? If it's WinVista reinstall with XP SP2, also x64 versions OS are not supported running SolidCAM.

Have the computer always reacted this way or have it come later. If possible try to uninstall later software and restore computer before the problems with SC occured. If SC always have reacted this way, uninstall, reboot and reinstall it. Make sure all funny virus protection, skype and other stuff are not running.

    Default WinVista

No, there is no update that at least I'm avare of, that makes SC run under Vista. Best advice I could give is to reinstall with WinXP. I've so much trouble with CAD-workstations and Vista so we've reinstalled every DELL WS with Vista as OEM to XP. HP are not ether deliver their WS with Vista.

Vista is far from ready yet, in the CAD/CAM world... With XP you'll also get a faster computer as the memory usage is much less.
