Default solidcam micro estimating library table confusion

    Please see attachment.
In solidcam there is a micro estimating library table that configures all the speeds and feeds for materials and bit types. In the fist column of the table is the "Radial Depth of Cut" field. My understanding of the definition for Radial Depth of Cut (RDOC) is: The distance a tool is stepping over into a workpiece. Also referred to as Stepover, Cut Width. The maximum value should be the diameter of the tool bit and yet the table has values that exceed the tool bit diameter. For instance a 0.25 inch bit has an entry for 1.75 inches. How can this be?

Perhaps the column label should be just "Depth of Cut" ?
