SolidCAM / SolidWorks Year Compatibility?

I have a 2017 install of Solidworks which I don't plan on upgrading any time soon. I'm looking to add a SolidCAM plug-in. Does anyone know if there are any compatibility issues between different releases of the programs between their various years? Would a SolidCAM 2019 work with SolidWorks 2017 for example?

There should be no problem in installing new Solidcam in old solidworks or oposite.
