solidcam machine id editor .vmid file editing

i can edit the machine id editor but i cant save, saying "read only file, try a different name".
how can i edit ?

Hi ali789,

Did you check the folder that your post is in and the folder itself to make sure they are not "Read Only"? Do you have admin rights to the computer? Are the post files on your local computer or the network?
