solidcam geometry is invalid for milling an elipse

I've made an elipse in a sketch on a model which has a hole 75mm in diameter.
the elipse is 75.3 by 75mm and when I select this sketch as a contour for milling an error ocurrs saying that the geometry is invalid.

it worked on some earlier models with smaller holes and smaller differences.

How are you selecting the geometry for milling, ie: are you trying to mill in between the sketches? If so does the full diameter of the tool fit in between them? If the 75mm hole is a pilot hole then set it as "open" so that SolidCAM understands that there is no material there that it may collide with. Often times when you get the "invalid geomtery" error it is because SolidCAM misunderstands what you are trying to machine.

if the message occurs at selecting stage the problem is that the sketch cannot be projected to machining plane.
