Default ESS with MB2: How to configure K1 to start/stop Spindle

Hope someone can point out my obvious mistake....
I have just bought a ESS and MB2 from CNCRoom. Got the plugin installed ok and using version 62 of Mach 3.
Have managed to get z Probe and E/Stop working ok. Have now moved onto Spindle Control.
I have a Nowforever E100 VFD and its 12v ouput actually puts out 13v so I am using a 7810 to get 10v to the MB2. That part seems to be working ok.
Its just getting the contact on the MB2 to start the VFD thats confusing me.
I used the disgram in the MB2 manual when wiring it up, that that shows K2 relay being used.
The manual infers I should be using K1.
I configured Outputs 1, 2 and 3 in Mach 3 and when I toggle the Spindle on the Diagnostics Page, a led adjacent to SPD pin toggles. I thought I had to solder pads in order to use that?
What do I have to do to get K1 to operate, to start/stop the spindle? There does not appear to be any reference to setting up K1 and K2 in the MB2 manual.
I assume some important info is missing?

    I think I have found my problem(s)
I had neglected to load the MB2 profle when starting Mach 3. ( I had missed this step somehow. ) I only noticed it when I watched cncrooms's u tube video in Thai.
The manual seems to be wrong as well... Output 1 drives the SPD output, so I will use that to start/stop the VFD via a 24V relay.
Output 2 is Coolant ( I think ) and Output 3 is Mister ( or vise versa )
Just waiting for a 24V relay to arrive and I can try it.

The diagram above appears to be wrong as well.

I usually advocate against using an .xml file from someone else.
My preference is to configure Mach3 manually, so you know exactly what and how everything is configured.
You can set the outputs to anything you want.

Are you using both MB2 relays for mist and flood? If not, use K1 or K2 for the spindle.
    K1 is port 2, pin 1.
    K2 is port 2, pin 14

The diagram you posted from the manual is correct, if you configure Mach3 that way.

    Thanks Gerry.
    Thats the info I need.
I thought I'd use that XML File to get up and running as painless as possible.
I'm not using either k1 or k2 relays, but they were an option if I could sort this out, if Iknew the ports and pins.
My Mister is emergised via the VFD internal relay.

Spindle starts and stops now.looking at the speeds now.

The beginning of the MB2 manual has a chart that lists the port and pin numbers.

Funny thing about a lot of CNC manuals. They give all the required information, but only ONCE.
    Been there ...

I find Ctrl/F (word search) very useful with those manuals.
