    Hello everyone

    Following problem:

I have a component part with 10 pockets
Now each pocket should be pre-roughed with a big cutter and afterwards the residual material should get removed.
For that, I have 10 contours with 3 milling tasks each in Shopmill, of course that take a very long time because the machine does a tool change after each pocket.
I would prefer that it processes all pockets with one cutter and then it removes all of the residual material with a second cutter.

How can I influence the order?

Be aware, I am still a newbie =)

    Regards
    Mts

A contour with one technology is sufficient.
Set TRANS X, Y and repeat technology.
You don’t even have to be able to master the Siemens controller, that is everyday life.

But these are 10 different pockets. Similar, but still different.

    Hello

Can you explain this a bit more in detail?

    Thank you
