    Hello dear community

we have a Gildemeister MF Sprint ( year of manufacturing 1997) with a 840C controller. Unfortunately we cannot manage to get it running...
The problem: as soon as the controller gets a positioning command it stops and the error message „error 3003 invalid address programmed " is displayed.
It doesn’t matter if we enter our “small” test programs in MDA mode or one of the programs that were already on the machine.
    e.g.: MDA - mode: G54
T1 D1 (tool change – it still do it!!)
    G0 Z100 X100 (that’s were it stops)
    M17

it also doesn’t do several cycles ( program prefix) approach tool changing point with L710 then the error message comes up

    chain : channel 1

    MPF1000 (is read)
    SPF1000 (is read, variable assignment)
SPF 751 (is read, variable assignment)
SPF 708 (is read, variable assignment)
SPF 702 (is read, variable assignment)
SPF 727 (is read, variable assignment)
SPF 731 (is read, variable assignment)
SPF 710 (approach tool changing point - error)

And the same happens with each program on the machine, they are around 20 programs that used to run for certain.
The machine is from the distributor but nobody was able to contact the previous owner.
Would really appreciate if somebody is able to help me out ....!!

    Regards

Hello have you tried it with G0 Z1=100 X1=100?
Depending on the configuration, the C axis sometimes demands that.
Or try switching the G54 with G59..

    Hello Viktor

I am not quite sure but I think L710 could be the problem...
„error 3003: invalid address programmed " -> is shows that an axis letter is somewhere programmed ...which can not be read by the controller.
It could also be possible that not all programs are loaded into the NCK.

    Regards

    Marcel
