Can you guys put some pics in the photo gallery of some of the projects that you have done on your cnc routers? I am trying to get my dad into building a cnc router and he keeps on asking me what would I make on it, I just keep telling him that we can make anything we want. He is really into wood working and I want him to like this because I am building one. If you could put up some pics I would appreciate it if you do.

    Thanks

I can't...yet. I built my machine with my Dad, as well -- a great experience since I'm a tech nerd, and he's a retired mechanical engineer. A perfect match, if ever there was one...

    My CNC diary site is:

I got the other two controller boards, today...I'll start modifying them tomorrow, probably.

At this stage all I can say is that I've built a stronger bond between father and son. :-) And, that's a major accomplishment in and of itself. (BTW: I'm 32 years old, and still like doing projects with my dad...that tells you something about our relationship.)

P.S. For reference, I'm building my machine, so I can cut clock parts. I LOVE mechanical clockworks.

Eric (BalsaMan) has cut some clocks out, and has entire threads dedicated to their production. They're a few months old and titled something like "A CNC Clock" and "Another CNC Clock."
