    Default 5 Axis mill toolpath

I have a .060 radius that I need to mill with a corner rounding cutter. I just want to do two profile cuts and have my tilting tables B and C axis maintain the right normals as I machine.

I tried the FreeForm - Composite but do not have it right yet. Is there another feature I should create to do this operation?

I am working with Esprit 2011 to create the toolpath for a Mori Seiki NMV5000

    Thank You

    Default Tech support

    Thanks

I have been working with someone so I was able to email the file.
It seems 5 axis composite cycle is the one to use. I will see more on what it looks like tomorrow.

I did not see a way to upload a picture of dptechology website.

The 5 axis composite feature is extremely powerful but the problem is that it has a lot of options all in one feature that can make it difficult to easily create toolpath. It takes a lot of time to become efficient using the composite cycle if you are unfamiliar with it. I've had good experience with their support staff.

I actually prefer the way composite works for several reasons and find it easy

    - less icons, more of my screen
    - no redundant data entry, I can fill out the page settings and if I need to change a type of strategy, rather than go to a new icon and new op page, I just change the one setting there and make a few adjustments and not re-enter a ton of stuff
    - all in one place, its easier to remember one icon for me
    - power, the composite is very powerful

also, when they created the knitted surface tool this was awesome.
