Default Another DIY DC servomotor project.

    Hi all, first post.

I am trying to convert a DC motor into a servomotor, too.

Up today, encoder is delivering a bounce free output running shaft at 1500 rpm.
Next stop, is try it at 3000 rpm to see if I can keep a noise free output from Schmitt Trigger .
Then add quadrature and HOME gap detector to the wheel.

That seems a fairly low resolution (50p/rev) if the intent is CNC application?

Yes, its a CNC appliation, thanks for your reply.

Encoder wheel has 200 PPRs, and gives a pulse around 180 microsec.

Added another video showing pulses with scope.
