    Does anyone have experience with these:

    180W (the large one)
    Nema23
    16 bit encoder
    3000rpm nominal, 4000 max
    Peak torque 1,8Nm
    Tuning software available
    Differential step/dir

    No experience, but I saw this video the other day. Seems like a decent overview of holding torque and tuning.

    No experience, but I saw this video the other day. Seems like a decent overview of holding torque and tuning. Sorry for the double post, not sure how to delete the first one.

    Great thank you.

    I did see the video where he testet steppers also. Good stuff.

    I guess the stiffness shouldn't matter too much when coupled to a ball screw - at least it should be possible to calculate how much deviation it would have.
    Also I think maybe with proper tuning it should behave differently. But that might not be easy to do without proper instructions.
