Need entry level servos, thinking Lichuan 3phase LCDA357H+LC57H3100, any good?
I am looking for budget servos with about 3nm, hopefully compatible with some computer software. I saw leadshine but could not easily find a package, at least an affordable one. Please help!

Hi,
I don't have anything against the Chinese brands like Lichuan with regards quality, they all seem to perform OK.
The problem is documentation....its Chinglish at best.
No setup and tuning software, you have to program the drives by pushing buttons on the drive like a microwave, very tedious and error prone.
After sales back-up.....questionable at best.
I use Delta servos, in particular the 750W B2 series (160,000 cpr encoder, 2.4Nm rated, 7.1Nm overload, 3000rpm rated, 5000rpm max), which are
Taiwanese manufactured in China. Good quality, good backup, good documentation, good setup and tuning software. About 25% more than Lichuan
but still much cheaper than Japanese/US/European brands.
