Servo tuning
I posted this on the UCCNC forum as that's where I've been lurking lately. Occurred to me though it's probably better here.
I've got my newly built CNC4PC system with UCCNC about 95% built am at the point where I'm trying to tune the servos. I've been at it in bits and pieces over a few weeks now and have made some headway. I've watched a ton of videos and had discussions with others on the subject.
I'm using the CNCDrive 08020 drives on 150 watt servos.
I've managed to get the gantry moving relatively smoothly athough still shy of full speed, and with a bit of a jerk at start and stop. I know I still have a ways to go but thought I'd pose a question now.
Attached is a screen shot of the CNCDrive Configuration software.
One main question here: everything I've seen online shows this curve going UP from zero rather than downward. Does anyone know why my resulting line from the shown in what appears to be UPSIDE DOWN? Wiring issue? Settings issue?
