    Default Micro flex

    Hello, honorable forum members.

Like many try to create a machine.

In the cnc accessories store, I purchased ABB (baldor) servo amplifiers and motors

    Example of the X axis

    Servo amplifier FMH 2A 06 TR EN23

    AC servo motor BSM80N-375 AF

Everything is prepared for the motherboard.

    SSK-MB2 and USB smooth stepper

I configured mach3 ports and pins etc. And here the problems begin.

When he tries to move the arrow keys on the keyboard to make the engine move.

This one does not react regularly, the engine does not even vibrate.

Other times, it turns and cannot start again for some reason.

Most often, however, whenever I try to make it move.

An error pops up on the amplifier, Status Led 8 .... Drive overload (It) trip. .....

Does anyone have experience with these servos.

I am asking for some tips.

If anyone is interested in this problem, I will provide more details.

It sounds like you've got it

    Configured wrong.

Have you tried asking the vendor

    Who sold you this kit?

    A CNC accessories store

Should also deal in CNC lore.

Thank you for your interest in the topic. You're right the setup is wrong. I use Mint Work Bench Build number 5860 to configure the program, I don't know what firmware I should upload to the servodrive. And I don't know how to do it properly. Can you advise anything on this? Any help is appreciated.

My guess is that servo drive and motor should be configured first. It runs on Windows 10 and I have the current version of the Work Bench. The program informs me that the encoder is not contactable and fails the encoder tests.

That would certainly account for some of your problems. If the encoder is bad, the servo motors won't work correctly - usually they run away if that's the case, but your system may throw an error instead. If you just bought those motors, contact the seller and tell them you want to return them, and the amps, since they won't be any use without the motors. Usually that will evoke some tech support, even if they were ignoring your questions before.

THe warranty period has already expired. ABB does not answer my questions, you see, I am not an important client. I need to find someone with programming experience with work bencz. then it will exclude possible errors. Thanks again for the advice. Now I need luck
