Default Fanuc a/3000 Sevo and GraniteDevices Drive

    Hello,
Got a 4th axis that has a Fanuc redcap servo. Currently trying to see if the Granite Devices Argon drive will work. What i have so far is drive connected and setup within the Granity software.
Currently motor will only snap to a pole position if it is near a pole when testing with Granity Jogging in Torque Mode. If motor is already at a pole position it will not rotate, just holds at my peak current of 4.6A. Has anyone succesfully tuned an alpha Faunc servo to work with a Argon? Or maybe another drive?
I have adapted a USDigital Incremental encoder with 2000ppr to the servo.
    Attached servo motor plate.

    Thanks for any info,
    Troy

Which US digital encoder did you use? How are you handling motor commutation?
