I've seen automation technologies in the US but as an Aussie I have to pay for the dollar + a fair bit of postage. Alliexpress of similar would be a lot better, but I'm using the wrong search terms or something. Everything I find is too small, like 200w or less. Looking for more 400W to 750W.

Is there no other international source for larger DC motors intended for use as servos, and not treadmills / other?

Brushless DC motors - their associated drive electronics tend to be very expensive and complicated! Are you looking for a cheaper alternative?
