R2030 with P5 400W
Hello, I am new for all this things. I have one question about R2030 and Sanyo P5 400W motor.
I connected R2030 to PC and motor by using R2110 motherboard and SPI cable according to pdf text. I run R2xTune (Beta050721) program for tuning. For this time I'm using Vm DC50V for probe.
Program indicates: "Motor voltage - 105 V, Peak voltage - 106V
and Motor Current - 0A, Peak Current - 0,2A"
But, as we know, P5 motors and R2030 are 100v rated. I was stoped all my tunig procedures untill I'll understand is this voltages good or not?
Thanks

I have used some Sanyo servos and if memory serves me this is the actual rating the drive read when it tested the windings on auto tune. The drive sent a pulse of electricity to the motor analyzed what happened and reported 105 volts. Not a problem.
the windings can handle that 5 volt difference.
I would worry more about over current than the extra 5 volts but if the amp is sized for the motor and it auto tunes you are probably good to go.
Wait till you discover the PID loop stuff that is where it gets voodoo science fun!
buwaaaa just saw post date lol
sorry!
