Low oil? Clogged filter? Bad motor? Bad pump? Bad pressure switch? Bad pressure relief valve?
Could be any of the above. Hard to tell without some trouble shooting.
I apologize if this is in the wrong section. I’m new to the forum and could not find a section to ask questions for bandsaws. If I am in the wrong section please point me in the right direction. I’m having problems with the saw shutting the hydraulic pump off after running for 50secs. It’ll start right back up, but after another 50secs it’ll shut off again. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Oil level is good, checked to see how many amps the motor pulls while cutting, most it pulls is 2.2amps. Pump is a little noisy. I’ll check the pressure switch and filter. It doesn’t really matter what it cuts, after 50secs It’ll shut off. Saw head feeds properly, clamps operate properly, index vise shuttles back and forth properly. saw head returns up properly, not slow like if the pressure was low. It only happens while cutting.
You are going to have to see if the pressure switch is dropping it out. Any error messages on the screen?
