    Default MACH3/FEEDRATE

    Hi, have been using your screen set since2010 and it is working perfectly.
    I know that my problem isn’t coming from the screen set, Mach doesn’t recognize the federate that I’m asking, no mather if I set to 15 or 1500 it’s always crawling, I can hardly see it move.
    When I press the arrows or use my shuttle it moves normally.
    Any suggestion of what I should look at to fix it.

    Thank you for the prompt reply, it's only slow while processing the G-Codes, jogging is normal . I was reading your comments on another tread that Kernel frequency on the diagnostics page and see if it's running at 75% speed. (18750 instead of 25000) and make sure FRO is set to 100%, and rapid override too, mine is right on the target.

    That code uses G93 Inverse time feedrates.

    Have you run any code from that Wizard that runs correctly?

    The wizard says it ONLY works with Mach3 3.042.029. Is that the version you are using?

    My Mach3 version is 3.042-040 and yes I have already run codes correctly with this software.

    I generated a square Gcode with vcarve, cutting air and the feedrate is ok

    I don't know because when I saw it going this slow I stop the process (speed is like comparing a turtle and a rabbit)

    I see a Z movement on line 1780 - does that line run fine?

    If not, at a decimal point to the feedrate and see if that helps.

    If 1780 runs fine, and line 1800 runs slow, I would suspect it will take 14.147 minutes to complete. Can you time that to verify?

    Both programs appear to run fine in demo mode.

    Changing the feedrate does indeed change the speed.

    Note that in G93 mode, the feedrates are specified in time, not actual feedrate.

    In G93 mode, a feedrate of 20 means it should take 1.2 seconds to complete the move. If the machine can't complete the move that fast, it won't go any faster. G93 feedrates much higher than that will not likely go any faster.

    The only thing I can suggest is to hand code some simple G93 moves, and see if it's working like it should be.

    The good news of the day, my problem is solve: Trying to get a smooth finish = (less sanding), in the wizard I was setting the stepover with a two small value .0625.
    Change it to .25 and now the gantry is moving, It’ not a rocket but it suit my needs.
