I'm trying to cut this part out of aluminum on Probotix Nebula CNC router.
For some reason, when I route the outline, around the curves, the CNC is doing a lot of acceleration/deceleration movements. Not sure what's going on. Since I use a 1mm cut width - it takes two passes to complete the level, so the first pass (outer pass) does a lot of stop-go motions, ruining any chipload calc I want to do, but the second pass, which finishes the remaining 0,04" - along the SAME exact region - is smooth as butter, so it makes me think this is not the CNC/command bandwidth issue, but rather something to do with RhnoCAM's generated toolpath?
Also, the CNC goes up and re-plunges between layers, even thought the settings are set not to allow that. Its a lower-priority issue, but still would love to understand.
